Its been minutes.....

wow! its really been minutes. I would have put up something earlier but I've been soooooo busy these past few days mehn! there just wasn't enough time to put up a post in one go. Anyway here goes a couple of things that have happened in my life in those days:

1) Thanksgiving was coooool, my friends and I organized a potluck. We hardly get to see each other these days since everyone is so busy but it was fun, enough chopping and gisting plus we watched CNN heroes together......good times.

2) I've studied and studied and studied like no mans business. As in I no know say na so life go be after graduation sha! I don't drink coffee normally but I had to start drinking coffee in order to stay awake since coke and them energy drinks don't do nada for me.

3) I got a Jury duty summon ha! I always wanted to do this and hopefully it's a good case and I get picked.

4) I totally burst my friend's bubble by telling her I don't have a best friend. Thing is she was expecting me to say she is my best or at least one of my best friends since she regards me that way but...I really don't do best friends. I've got a couple of friends, few I'm closer to than others (and she's one of the few) but say have a best friend that I completely trust? uhm nah!

5) I've become more and more aware that not everyone who seems like they mean well for you actually means well for you. It's not something I just learnt but I've recently become more aware of it.

6) I've missed having a mum.

There you have it. Now on the issue of TIGER WOODS:

Okay I agree that Tiger Woods was totally and absolutely wrong for cheating on his wife especially considering the fact that she just gave birth a few months ago BUT to me this not only speaks about Tiger's character but also about the character of the woman in question. Messing around with a man knowing fully well that he has a wife and 2 very young children at home yet you call yourself a woman. Now she don go hire lawyer say wetin! U no get shame? pride? or some sense of self-worth?

I believe women are supposed to be builders and uphold a higher sense of ideal than that.

Men too una need to arrange una self haba! when them no force una marry. The question I would really like to ask Tiger woods now is:

Was it worth it afterall?

On a higher note here's a quote from the guest speaker at church today, it's one I intend to remember always
"Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"

Have a great week everyone and be good.

  2. it takes two to tango.... but perhaps Tiger should have remembered he's given his word to someone... but then do our words mean anything anymore? I dunno... Hate to be a cynic..

You don't have a best friend? Well... perhaps the best of your friends is your best friend? Except if best friend is a noun.. lol....

absence of evidence is not evidence of absence... true words....

  4. its funny how woman who seemingly have it all: the wealth, beauty, highly successful husband, a mansion and children yet they STILL have hubbies who cheat on them...but then we have to come to a realization that it is HIS character, and it has nothing to do with his partner and her faults...its who he is as a person; a cheater.

  5. Hey dear, hope you are doing great. The Tiger issue is a very sad and annoying one. Over and over again we come to see that people are not always who they portray themselves to be. Like you said, I wonder if he thinks it was worth it after all? It never is...

  9. yeah, been a long minute.i say TW go de regret am by now..life is way more difficult when you r in d public eye, now it's even sadder that it would be more difficult for them to settle their issues cos the whole world has an opinion and the guy is increasingly coming across as a serial cheater.
